The HL-Bloc fully welded plate heat exchanger offers exceptional versatility, compatible with a wide range of fluid media and capable of handling various temperature and pressure conditions with ease. Its compact design excels in liquid-to-liquid heat exchange, condensation, and evaporation applications, making it widely used in industries such as petroleum/natural gas, pharmaceuticals, shipbuilding and metallurgy, pulp and paper, power generation, food and beverage, and HVAC, providing reliable support for efficient heat exchange requirements across various sectors.
Premium Fully Welded Plate Heat Exchangers for Efficient Thermal Transfer
The core of the HL-Bloc fully welded plate heat exchanger is a stack of corrugated heat transfer plates made of stainless steel or other corrosion-resistant materials. Every other plate is laser welded to form channels for fluid flow.
The hot and cold fluids flow in separate channels. The design of the corrugated plates induces high turbulence, which not only significantly improves heat transfer efficiency, requiring much less heat transfer area than similar shell-and-tube heat exchangers, but also reduces the accumulation of fouling. Moreover, its unique plate design eliminates dead zones within the heat exchanger.
In the HL-Bloc fully welded plate heat exchanger, the two flow paths can be configured either as single-pass or as multi-pass by means of baffles. The number of channels on the hot and cold sides can be selected independently, enabling optimized heat transfer even when there are significant flow differences between the two sides. This unique flexibility ensures that the unit can always be precisely adapted to the required task. The baffles can withstand full vacuum and can be rearranged if design conditions change in the future.
The HL-Bloc fully welded plate heat exchanger for petrochemical applications features counter-flow characteristics, enabling operation with cross temperature programs in a single unit and achieving small temperature differences to maximize energy recovery. Additionally, the equipment is compact and lightweight, offering flexible installation options such as mounting on top of distillation columns or hanging from support structures.

Daily inspection of appearance, leaks, and operating parameters; regular cleaning of fins, tightening of components, and corrosion prevention and fin repair.
If heat exchange efficiency decreases, cleaning, repairing or replacing fins, or adjusting flow rate is required; for leaks, seals need to be replaced or pipeline fins repaired or replaced; abnormal vibration and noise require securing equipment, tightening components, or adjusting flow speed.
